| FAQ's Here are some frequently ask questions that are asked a lot. Some of these questions listed here may be out dated. We are currently updating them. 1.
When will the pictures be up from the latest event?
1. When will the pictures be up from the latest event? This seems to be the #1 question that everyone asks. Just to let you know, since there seems to be over 800 photos that are being posted now, 800 photos does take some time transferring, re sizing, color correcting, and dropping them into web pages. They will be up as soon as I can get them finished. I do have a regular job and other things that I have to take care of. If all I had in my life was this site to work on, then the update will be much faster. Please keep in mind that I am doing this site, because I enjoy it. Please be patient. The photo update will be up soon. 2. Why is Bats Day in the Fun Park in August? Its actually quite simple that its in August. You see, this is the last day that Disneyland is still on its summer hour schedule that the Socal Annual pass holders can go back to the park. Which means that the park is open until 11 or 12am and then one extra hour for Main Street to be open. Also the other reason is for people that have to pay to get into Disneyland, you get more hours to spend at Disneyland for the money that you are paying. Off summer hours, the park is normally only open until about 7 or 8pm. The first 2 years that Bats day happened it wasn't really all that hot. It was only Bats day 3 that it was like 95, and last year it was only like 87. 3. Can I submit photos to the web site? You sure can! I am always looking for all the photos and video that was taken from any of the Bats Day in the Fun Park™ event, for our archives. If you have photos that you have taken at any of the events that you wish to have posted to this site, please email them to us. You can either .zip your photos and send them to us, or you can send a cd of the photos to us as well. Email us and we will send you a mailing address. If you have video that you have taken and wish to donate, please e-mail us and we will make arrangements to get them from you. You can also join the Official Bats Day in the Fun Park Photo Team. Please email us to inquire about it. 4. Im a reporter and I have a tv show/magazine/blog/podcast. How can I go about setting up time for an interview or to be able to cover this incredible event? I am always happy to talk to reporters about the event. Please send an email to Batsday@aol.com and/or batsday@batsday.net, letting me know what it is that you would like to do. Bats Day in the Fun Park is a very involved event. We are always looking for volunteers. Please e-mail us with a resume of what you can do, and we will be in contact with you soon. 6. Will there be bands playing at Disneyland for Bats Day? NO! This was a rumor that came up at the first year Bats Day in the Fun Park event. There are not going to be any bands at Disneyland. Disneyland has nothing to do with Bats Day in the Fun Park. There is however there are Pre Events that have live entertainment with Bands. If you want more information go here. 7. Who can I talk to about info about this event? If you have any questions that is not listed here, please contact this site. Disneyland is not involved in this event. Please do not contact Disneyland. 8. Is there any kind of dress code? You can dress to impress, but keep in mind that it may be very hot that day. From our previous trips we found out that Disney will not allow capes or fishnet stocking, on guys, to be worn into the park. You can try to wear them in, but keep in mind that you may be asked to take them off and place them back in you car. One of the main reasons that there is a dress code is due to the fact that Disney does not want anyone from the regular visitors mistaken any of us as one of their characters or cast members. 9. Does Disneyland have any involvement with Bats Day? This event is NOT sponsored by Disneyland. Please DON'T call Disneyland about Bats Day in The Fun Park. Contact the this web site for any information that you may need. 10. Can I advertise on your site? You sure can. Please contact us. 11. How can I go to Bats Day in the Fun Park? Simple. Show up to Disneyland, buy you ticket into the park, and meet at the meeting spots. Disneyland does not know about the meeting spots or times. Please don't ask them about it. 12. When will the meeting spots and times be announced? We try to keep those a secret until about 20 days before the event. Please keep checking back to the "Event Info" page for that information. Please keep in mind that the meeting spots are designed for these things: 1. To take the meeting spot picture. If you wish to be in the picture, please get to the meeting spot as soon as you can. The picture will be taken about 15 - 20 minutes after the time that is said for that meeting spot. This should give you plenty of time to get into the picture. 2. So you can meet up with friends that you got separated from. 3. To meet new people that are attending the event. To let you know, the 3rd meeting spot is at the Haunted Mansion. After the group picture is taken, and we ride the Haunted Mansion, the group will ride these rides in order. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, The Jungle Cruse (hopefully we will get the naughty spiel), and then Pirates of the Caribbean. This has been a tradition at all of the events so far. Since this event has become so huge now, taking a group photo of 2000+ people is a little hard to do. We have set up a good system to take the group photo now at the Haunted Mansion. If you follow these steps you will make it in to one of the group photos. 1. Get in line for the Haunted Mansion
at the meeting time. If you think that you will be late to the photo, don't worry, the photos should be still be going on for about 45mins. Also Disneyland will be taking photos of these groups as well. If you want to purchase one of these photos, you can pick them up at the end of the day where you go to pick up the photos on Main Street. 13. Can anyone attend Bats Day in the Fun Park? Anyone is welcome to attend Bats Day in the Fun Park. We have had people from all over California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, and Texas. We have even had people come from New Zealand just for Bats Day Haunted Holiday. Please keep in mind that this event is designed for the Gothic, Death Rock, Rivethed community. You could stick out if you are not part of one of these communities, but you are welcome to attend. Ravers as well as other communities have designed their own days to attend Disneyland. This event is for the Gothic, Death Rocker, Rivethed communities. 14. Are the other events that are affiliated with Bats Day in the Fun Park? At this time, there is no other events that are affiliated with Bats Day in the Fun Park. When it gets closer to the actual event date, Bats Day will make some appearances at some club locations, as well as other events, to sell shirts or other things. You can find this information in the Club Events / Club Photo section. If it is not mentioned here on this web site, it is not affiliated with Bats Day in the Fun Park. There has been some other events that claim that they are affiliated with Bats Day in the Fun Park, but they are not. 15. Other info that may come in handy. If you want to smoke, please smoke
in the areas that you can smoke in. Please do not bring alcohol or any
other illegal substances into the park. Disney Security has a very watchful
eye. Not to mention that they have been searching backpacks, bags, and
purses, of everyone now since 9/11/01. If you are caught, they will eject
you from the park. If you want to drink, you can go out of the park and
go to one of the many places on Downtown Disney and get something there.
If you try to sneak anything into the park, you will be responsible for
yourself and this web site nor anyone else will take responsibility for
that person or persons. We had a really good turn outs at
all of these Bats Day events. I would love to see this community to continue
to have these kind of events at Disneyland in the coming years. Disney
has always kept their eye on us, to make sure that nothing bad was going
to happen. I know that our group was very well behaved and that there
were not any problems. These "rules" are not meant
to lessen your fun at Disneyland, but to insure a fun, hassle free day
for everyone. All it take is one bad apple to ruin it for everyone. Oh, and most of all don't forget to have fun! |
